Salva's path to Chinese medicine did not begin in a classroom. It began in Japan, with a few acupuncture treatments that resolved a condition that years of conventional medicine had failed to address. That experience was not merely clinical. It was revelatory.

He left a successful career as a marketing executive in the international jewellery industry at 37 to pursue what he now calls the most sophisticated system of healthcare he has encountered. The decision required trading certainty for depth and he has not looked back.

He trained at university level across five years, studying simultaneously in Chinese medicine and human biology, a dual foundation that is exceptionally rare among practitioners in Palma de Mallorca. The biomedical training deepened the classical, providing a framework for understanding why the tradition works in terms that bridge both worlds.

Clinical practice followed in Australia, China, and Mongolia, environments that exposed him to conditions and case complexity rarely encountered in a Western-only practice. He brings that breadth to every consultation in Palma.

He founded PUNTOS de Salud with a single intention: to offer the highest standard of Chinese medicine practice available on the island, rigorous, transparent, and genuinely comprehensive.

Why credentials matter for your results.

THE PHILOSOPHY

Every treatment begins with a full TCM diagnostic evaluation — pulse, tongue, and meridian palpation. The treatment is designed around the diagnosis, not the symptom label.

Diagnosis first. Always.
The complete system, not one tool

A practitioner trained in Chinese medicine has six therapeutic disciplines available. A practitioner trained in acupuncture has one. The breadth of training directly determines the depth of what is possible for you.

You will know at the end of your first session what to expect, over what timeframe, and why. Treatment plans have milestones. Progress is tracked. The goal is resolution and a maintenance plan if deemed necessary.

Honest timelines. Clear outcomes.

The difference between a practitioner who studied acupuncture and one who studied Chinese medicine is the difference between a technique and a system.
